My Picnic and Le Bridge

Le Bridge, Ancol

Last Friday, me and my boyfriend planned to go to the beach and had a picnic. Well, because of the heavy raining, we went 2 hours late. Not only that, at first we planned to get sushi groove take away, but we were too lazy to go to Kelapa Gading because of the rain, so we brought hot mocca coffee and snacks.

We went to Pasar Seni, and chilled out at the beach until we starved and didn’t realize that it was 6 o’clock. So we went to Le Bridge, ordered nice foods and enjoyed the view.

We ordered Fusilli Tuna, Seafood Spaghetti, 2 ice tea, and also onion ring for our side dish. The view was extraordinary. We enjoyed the sunset and also our food!

Amazingly I can stand of being vegetarian. Thanks to my nephew Jessica who already is a vegetarian for a long time. She’s inspiring me to do the same way. And it’s fun!

Can’t wait for our next trip!

My Rubik's Story

Yesterday I mentioned about my Popped Rubik. I got this 4x4 Rubik from my boyfriend. He’s so addicted to Rubik. Once he played the 3x3 and he also bought me one.
My careless habit caused my Rubik POPPED! Oh God.

It happened on Saturday at Dunkin Donut. My boyfriend ordered drinks and he told me find us a table, because it was so crowded that night. While I waited for him, I played my Rubik. When he came and brought the drinks, I intended to help him get the drinks from his hands, and the Rubik fell.

At that time, only one pieces popped from the Rubik. I asked the cashier to give me a plastic bag to wrap up my Rubik and I thought of getting it fix at home.
When I finally reached home, I found my Rubik fell into lots of pieces.

Popped Rubik

I spend about 3 hours and 45 minutes to fix it.
Here’s the process of getting IT done!

First layer

First I made the first layer. If you found it awkward, so did I. You see those white things look like strings? Well you’re right. Those are strings. I did this because I can’t easily bring it all pieces together. They didn’t even want to stay still. So I used string to make them stay still and easier for me to move on the next step.

Second Layer

For the second layer it was not easy. Because the structure of the first layer was not stable so I have to be careful when I put piece. I had to put it one at a time. At this stage I kept thinking about those white strings. But I kept moving on.

Third Layer

The third layer is quite easier because the structure of the Rubik was more stable than the first two steps. Quite easier here means not only five minutes, but more and more other extra minutes.
Forth Layer

The last but not least were the forth layer. I finished it all, but suddenly I saw four extra components that were still out of my Rubik. I just want to cry, but I thought that if I put all together, I can easily go back to the first layer and fixed my mess.
It was almost done, but the hardest part was putting 2 last pieces.

Finally, I started this at 1 am and I finished at 4:45 am. It was a silly reason for not sleeping.

Voila!

My boyfriend told me to play the Rubik, but I thing I’m going to put that Rubik away from me until I’m ready to play and fix it if it’s pop again. It’s quite an experience though.

POPPED Rubik made me CRAZY!

My Wonderful Weekend

Oh my wonderful weekend. It started on Saturday.
I went out with my boyfriend. We watched Alice in Wonderland at Planet Hollywood, Jakarta.

Alice in Wonderland, Planet Hollywood

The movie started when Alice was a little. I kept watching but unfortunately I skipped many scenes at the beginning. Many people passed by in the beginning of the movie and they made some silly noises. I'm so pissed, but Johnny Depp made my heart melt!

Today I go out with my parents to Mall Kelapa Gading. We already planned that we'll eat sushi at Sushi Tei. So we went there and start to order and realized at the end that we ordered a lot.

We started with Chuka Kurage which is made of jelly fish like in Chinese restaurant, but here the jelly fish was softer but you still get little crunch. We also ordered Chuka Chinmi for appetizer which is made of scallop with sweet sauce. I like the jelly fish better than the scallop. For me the taste of the scallop itself is a little bit gammy and also you can't tell that it is scallop from the texture.

My dad ordered Shoyu Ramen which was super! The soup was delicious, and my dad can't stop until the plate was empty.

Gyu Enoki Roll, Sushi Tei

My mom's favorite was Gyu Enoki Roll, which was enoki mushroom rolled with beef and dressed with sweet sauce.

Aburi Salmon Roll, Sushi Tei

My dad also makes Aburi Salmon Roll as his favorite. But we have to take away some of them because we already full.

At the end we ordered wafer chocolate ice cream. YUM! What a nice weekend.

RED ALERT: Someone help me please. I dropped my 4x4x4 rubic, and now it's POP!

My Holiday Activity

Oh my, it’s Friday already.
And guess what, my holiday is almost over!
My 8th semester will start on Monday, March 8th.
Well. Today is not about complaining.
It’s about me sharing what I do on my holiday.
Well, I go nowhere but HOME!

It’s good to be home, since I almost spend my days in BSD, it’s good to be in Jakarta.
I do nothing but sleeping, eating, browsing, and many things that’s not even productive.
You should not try this when you’re on holiday. Haha..

These are my friends who are accompanying me during the holiday. But almost everyday I use them. They are:

1. My Blackberry
I hold this thing everyday. Even it has to be near me when I sleep. What a magical thing. It connects me with my family and my friends.
2. My Smart USB Modem
I got this from my Uncle, Uncle Tikno. It’s very useful, since I can’t connect through the internet in BSD. It’s easy to use, Plug and Play.
3. My Thermos
I usually drink hot tea at night to keep me away from sleeping. Because I use Air Conditioner in my room, it’s a good thing to use my thermos. Oh I love you!
4. My Laptop
My laptop is my baby. Oh I can’t imagine my life without it. I have this since 3 years ago. Always keep me awake! You can blame this thing for keeping me awake at night.
5. My Grey’s Anatomy's DVD
I love this DVD more than anything else. I watched them for many many times. I once did a marathon from season 1 until season 4. And I didn’t sleep. And I still remember that I couldn’t move my ass from the chair.
6. My Zebra Mouse
It’s a gift from my mom. I wonder where she got this style, but I love it. I love you MOM!
7. My Esia
This thing help me connected with my friend and also family. Even if I use bbm or even GSM, I still need this thing. It’s cheaper to call from this cdma.
8. My mp3 player
I got this player when I was in the senior high school. And it always help me to concentrate when I’m jogging, and it even distract me from getting tired of the workout.
9. My Blue Mug
Guess what, I can’t live without coffee! Coffee addict is my middle name. When I wake up every morning, a cup of coffee always made my day. This delicious Balinese Coffee is so addictive. So and so and so addictive!

That’s it.
Don’t forget to make your holiday useful. And please don’t try my holiday plan, which is not good for your health and also for your brain.

Have a nice holiday everyone.
